Fall (My First Poem)

Leaves falling on the ground

People dancing round and round

Jack O’lanterns grin from windows

Ghosts, witches, cats and hippos

Sweet sweet candy in a pot

KitKats, Hershey’s, and Lollipops

Turkeys, green beans, pumpkin pie

All these foods will dazzle the eye

Harvesting apples, stalks of corn

Cider, cocoa, and popcorn

Take a walk, away from the house

Magpies flying to the south

Vibrant leaves in a heap

Gold, scarlet, up to my knees

Cold wind blowing

Soon it will be snowing

Pumpkin pie, spice and oak

The Scent of fresh pine smoke

All these things belong to fall

The best season of all!
